Simply put, cuz they R Free!!! Hot free beats are free for so many reasons, these days, but all the reasons boil down to the same thing. Inferior, overused, and played out tracks. Nobody gives away their truly hot ones. Plus they are sure to ask you for your email address, which is code for I'm gonna spam your ass until you buy something and get sick of me, or just get sick of me and the bullshit way I try to sell my beats. Make no mistake it is predatory, and if you want to be prey, the by all means do it. Most folks don't like being on the wrong end of that treatment.
Don't go that route. Nobody ever got famous over a free track, ever! It's not worth it. If you want to separate yourself from the low ballz and wannabees, it's simple, you must invest something, even a small amount in yourself, and your career, it is the only way to move forward. The fakes don't believe in themselves or what they are doing, so they are willing to put out bullshit tracks over free beats, and there are a million of them. Don't go there unless you like going nowhere, or if you simply have no other choice.
If you are a serious contender as a hip hop artist, save some paper up(doesn't have to be much), do your homework. Shop a lot of beatz. See what you are feelin, take your time on it, then get you some real beatz, get inspired, lay down them rhymes, and speak your truth on it. Don't waste your time on free beats that a thousand others out there are using. Make a real impact with YOUR sound. Make something truly hot, all you, and something that will keep your peeps headz ringin.........Make em remember the name......Quickest way to the fame......Stay Blessed and no matter what, Keep Grindin!
